Nike has teamed up with Liverpool FC to unveil the team’s new away kit for the 2024-25 season. Arne Slot’s men will wear the jersey this weekend when they take on Manchester United at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, South Carolina, to close out this summer’s tour of the United States.
The new jersey is a modern version of the Reds’ favorite green away jersey color scheme, with a new color called “Night Forest,” a mix of brownish green and dark grey, with pale lime green and ivory trim on the sleeves and sides. The cuffs and sides are trimmed in pale lime green and ivory. The same design also appears on the matching shorts and socks.
The jersey’s high-performance technical fabric features Nike Dri-FIT ADV technology, a breathable FIT ADV weave that ensures perspiration evaporates, helping players stay cool and lightweight and maintaining their high level of performance until the final whistle.
Produced sustainably, Nike jerseys are made from 100% recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles, for both the Player and Fan versions of the jersey. The plastic bottles are collected, cleaned and melted down to make high-quality yarn as part of Nike’s ‘Move To Zero’ commitment to sustainability. Soccer apparel has always been a leader in sustainability and is in line with Liverpool FC’s ‘The Red Way’ initiative.
