Adidas and Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr kicked off their partnership today by unveiling the team’s new home jersey for the 2024-25 season. The launch of the new kit is more than just an update of the kit bag, it is a vivid and passionate celebration of Al Nassr’s illustrious soccer history and ambitious future. The home jersey features the club’s signature yellow color with bright blue details and the slogan “Nassr runs in my blood”. The slogan symbolizes the deep connection between the club and its supporters.
Driven by a shared mission to achieve excellence across Saudi soccer, Adidas unveiled the new season’s jersey with a film that pays tribute to Al Nassr’s rich heritage and its passionate fan base. Featuring a tribute to the ‘Golden Trio’ of legendary players from Al Nassr’s history, the film shows the club’s journey from its humble beginnings to its current glory, with new star players leading the way. The film shows vivid images and key moments in the club’s history, featuring the men’s team players Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, Abdulrahman Ghareeb, Abdulela Amri and Javad Ghareeb. Abdulelah Al-Amri, and Otavio Monteiro, as well as women’s team players Aseel Ahmed, Clara Luvanga, and Lina Boussaha. Inspired by match day culture and Saudi Arabia’s rich soccer history, the film is set in a number of iconic locations in Riyadh and skillfully incorporates classic moments from decades of Saudi soccer pop culture.
Inspired by the rich soccer heritage of Victory FC (Al Nassr), the back of the jersey’s collar is adorned with the Saudi national emblem of the date palm and crossed scimitars, paying homage to Saudi Arabian culture. The design adds a sense of elegance and sophistication that will stand out both on and off the pitch.
The new jerseys feature sweat-wicking AEROREADY technology with a specially designed breathable mesh lining for comfort and breathability, whether the players are out on the field or the fans are cheering them on. The jerseys are made from renewable materials, demonstrating Adidas’ commitment to ending plastic waste. Considering the huge potential of the gaming industry in Saudi Arabia, Adidas released the club’s new season home shirt on Roblox, the leading online gaming interactive community, which allows fans to purchase the shirt as a digital wearable on the platform. Additionally, fans will be able to see the new jerseys displayed on life-sized Roblox characters in the adidas Riyadh Park store during the 2024 eSports World Cup.
The launch continues Adidas’ journey of innovation on Roblox, following the launch of the adidas Outfit Creator store in 2023, which provides licensed digital and customized apparel to over 79.5 million daily users.
